~ Today’s Inspired Thought ~

With one life to live and that one life to enjoy, can you truly afford to fulfill another person’s dream instead of your own?

Especially if that profession is not part of your passion?

If the profession you have been hired into is not part of your passion, you cannot afford to sacrifice your dream for another’s.

When I speak of affordability, I don’t speak of it financially. I speak of it mentally and spiritually.

We cannot mentally and spiritually afford the growth of regret and the feeling of failure that most likely will hit us when we grow old enough to start looking back and wishing that we could of lived our life a whole lot differently.

Think of all the time and energy you have invested in your job so far that has yet to fulfill what you truly desire but it has helped fulfill the desires of your boss or CEO. (More than one vacation, personal luxuries and financial freedom.)

If you desire the reward of more than one well deserved vacation, unlimited personal luxuries and financial freedom do all you can to start off slowly and work your way up to momentum.

I am so grateful for these motivational words:

“It doesn’t matter how slow you go, as long as you don’t stop.”

If you can’t fulfill your dream Full time, do all you can to at least start fulfilling it part time.

1 hour a day, 3 hours a day or 5 hours a day. At the end of your days you will smile knowing that you did not give in and throughout your lifetime you have fulfilled most if not all that you have set your mind to.

With one life to live, I sincerely hope you achieve All.

~ Here is my sincerest wish for you: ~

What great visual perspectives! I am so happy and relieved to say that I am not the same person I was years ago where I would rather turn to a can or bottle of soda wherever I could purchase it or request it rather than a bottle of water. The old me adored Orange Soda, Grape soda, Lemon Lime Soda at any time and at any day but the older I got, the more aware I have become that indeed we ARE what we EAT and DRINK!

Seeing these photos reinforces and validates my reasons to avoid drinking Soda 7 days a week! Now I am done to once a month or none at all until the next family occasion. And I am even smacking my head saying DOH! (like Homer Simpson!) for slipping on two occasions; giving in to the option of soda pop at a barbeque and children’s party. But I am proud to say that Soda is no longer a natural option for me at home or when I am out and about on my own; and these photos above only help seal my reasons why. And that is to avoid living a Diabetic Lifestyle because my grandmother suffered from the complications of it and my mother is working on controlling it and I am not interested in following suit.

~~~ I wish you and your loved ones the best of Health! ~~~
It has become OH SO CLEAR that I have ONE LIFE to live and this clear awareness makes this message connect with me SO WELL!
REALLY!!…..What is the point?!¬†
What is the point of being alive if you don’t at least try to do something ~~Remarkable!~~
I want to live a remarkable life! I want to die with no regrets! I want to die exhausting all the gifts that God has blessed me with.
I want to achieve financial freedom remarkably. I want to achieve physical fitness remarkably. I want to achieve a successfully loving marriage remarkably. I want to achieve my purpose remarkably. I want to serve others remarkably. I want to live my life remarkably!
What’s the point of living if I do the opposite?!
We only have one chance to enjoy the life that was given to us and I would love for someone to read my life story and say “Simply Remarkably!”
And I’d like to do the same with yours!
~*~*~ The Best of Health to you and loved ones! ~*~*~
My sincerest respects to all the men and the women who has served our country. I (a black woman) would not have the freedom to write this or the freedom to enjoy this day off if it wasn’t for the people who died in the Civil War and the men and women who continue to fight for American justice and freedom.
Today would not be a holiday if it wasn’t for them sacrificing their lives for the sake of their future, their families future and the future of their fellow Americans. And it is unfortunate that they could not see how effective their efforts have been and how appreciated they are. So if they are truly watching down on us and can truly see our appreciation, I sincerely pay my respects to them. This day will not be wasted on getting drunk just because it was a day off from work.*
What is Memorial Day?
Memorial Day is a federal holiday observed annually in the United States on the last Monday of May.[1] Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.[2] Formerly known as Decoration Day, it originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union soldiers who died in the Civil War. By the 20th century Memorial Day had been extended to honor all Americans who have died in all wars. It typically marks the start of the summer vacation season, while Labor Day marks its end.
Many people visit cemeteries and memorials, particularly to honor those who have died in military service. Many volunteers place an American flag on each grave in national cemeteries.[3]
By the early 20th century, Memorial Day was an occasion for more general expressions of memory, as people visited the graves of their deceased relatives in church cemeteries, whether they had served in the military or not. It also became a long weekend increasingly devoted to shopping, family gatherings, fireworks, trips to the beach, and national media events such as the Indianapolis 500 auto race, held since 1911 on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.[4]
Annual Decoration Days for particular cemeteries are held on a Sunday in late spring or early summer in some rural areas of the American South, notably in the mountains. In cases involving a family graveyard where remote ancestors as well as those who were deceased more recently are buried, this may take on the character of an extended family reunion to which some people travel hundreds of miles. People gather on the designated day and put flowers on graves and renew contacts with kinfolk and others. There often is a religious service and a “dinner on the ground,” the traditional term for a¬†potluck¬†meal in which people used to spread the dishes out on sheets or tablecloths on the grass. It is believed that this practice began before the American Civil War and thus may reflect the real origin of the “memorial day” idea.¬†[5]
Today was such an awesome day watching the talent of our children!
Today was the 1st Annual Talent Contest of our Haitian children in celebration of our Haitian Heritage!
Thanks to our Mayor, May is now recognized as Haitian Heritage Month here in Massachusetts! It was on May 18th 1804 that our Haitian Flag was officially created and throughout this month I’ve attended our Flag Raising Event at the Boston City Hall, our Haitian-American Unity Parade and Youth and Family Enrichment Serveice’s (YOFES) 1st Annual Festival promoting the talent of our children!
It was beautiful and inspiring to see the courage it took for these kids as young as 6 jump on stage dancing, singing, reciting poetry, demonstrating their work of art and more in representation of our history!!
It was so sweet and it was such a great way to educate and inspire pride in their heritage and remind me and my fellow adults of what we need to constantly be proud of.
The American lifestyle can almost make one forget where ones’ culture began; especially if one was born in America and never visited their country…. from stressing over student loans, credit card bills, working over time, hearing of the latest electronic gadgets, etc. one can get so distracted to the point of losing ¬†ones’ identity!
Attending this cultural event has reinforced the  pride in my heritage, has reawakened the definition of who I am and inspired me to take part in raising the bar of advancement in our culture.
Today was such a great day! I feel so refreshed and so excited to get involved in our next events! ¬†ūüôā
I hope your day was great as well! Thanks for your visit!
Wise Words in this text
“Clear your mind of can’t.” ~ Samuel Johsnson
“Reexamine the Sentence, ‘Just Do Your Best.’ I Would Substitute it with, ‘Just Do.'” ~Wayne Dyer
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Empty your mind. Think of Nothing.

Clear your mind of ¬†“I can’t do this” ¬†– Because you can – “Practice makes improvement”

Clear your mind of “I can’t lose weight” ¬†– Because you can – Your body is always ready to renew.

Clear your mind of ¬†“I can’t be successful like that” – ¬†Because you can ¬†– ¬†As long as you live, you still have the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve.

Clear your mind of ¬†“I can’t find love” – Because you can – As long as you stay positive, as long as you walk with a smile, you can attract attention.

This quote has been set as a weekly reminder on my phone. I highly recommend it.

This consistent reminder has made clearing my mind of can’t easier to do every time I see it and so I have been able to focus on “Just Do.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When is it ever good to use the word “can’t”?
When is it ever¬†good¬†to use ¬†the word “can’t” as part of any statement??
The only times I can think of is when you are serving justice and when you are fighting to achieve.
“I can’t allow this person to steal.”
“I can’t allow this person to bully.”
“I can’t allow my sister to fail. I can’t allow my brother to fail. I can’t allow my daughter to fail. I can’t allow my son to fail.”
“I can’t allow myself to fail.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“Reexamine the Sentence, ‘Just Do Your Best.’ I Would Substitute it with, ‘Just Do.'”¬†~Wayne Dyer

I love Wayne Dyer. I love Samuel Johnson. I love them both for sharing their wisdom. Without their thoughts, I would not have been able to think these words with such enlightened clarity.

It’s through their thoughts that I have found my strength and ability to act with confidence, to act with no fear of failure. Failure is inevitable and if¬†failure appears, it is not accepted as failure, it is accepted as feedback and so I continue to “Just Do.”

And whether I fail or whether I succeed. It has been done. And doing is an achievement of its own.

I truly believe he works hard not for his benefit but for ours.

I believe he hears our voice and is making the greatest effort to fulfill our requests that will not benefit one American but ALL who are for equal opportunity and equal reward.

His job is tough and I definitely couldn’t do what he is doing. I couldn’t manage 50 states and their demands, I couldn’t manage 50 states and their cries plus manage international affairs as well!

It is a tough job and I admire and am so grateful for his courage and most of all I admire him because he doesn’t do it to make a name for himself, he doesn’t do it for the money, he is doing this job to fulfill our needs.

Our need for equal opportunity to provide for our loved ones NOW and our need for equal reward to sustain our longevity.

We all have ONE life to live and so We all deserve to get paid in equal part to how hard we work.

We do not deserve a government and leadership that will hinder/limit our ability to obtain the success we deserve from our own hard work.

We do not deserve a government and leadership that is for satisfying their ego, that is for making a profit, that is for dominating and not providing common sense solutions for the cries of the middle class and the poor.

Today’s Thank You Game challenge is to thank someone who brings beauty into your life. (http://on.fb.me/ThankYouGame)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I responded by saying on facebook that
I thank my mother and father for giving me life.
My heart continues to beat because they gave birth to me
I still stand because they created and nurtured me to this very moment.
I am 27 years old because I was ONE day old.
I fully acknowledge that I didn’t put myself on this earth…..my parents, my grandparents, my ancestors and God brought me here. So I now do my best to act with gratitude even when days get rough between us…I do my best to respond with gratitude. ‚̧ ‚̧ ‚̧ ‚̧
Day by day, I have come to realize that I didn’t put myself on this earth…I didn’t give birth to myself and so I have been blessed with life, I was given the gift of life and that is a priceless gift. A gift that I must say thank to my parents every day that I live. Wow…I vow to say thank you to my parents everyday I see them and say “Thank you Daddy, Thank you Mommy, for giving me life. I lived today because of you”
I vow to do this everyday.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I realized that I was so quick to say Thank you that I did not clearly comprehend that today’s game is to ¬†“Thank someone who brings beauty into your life.” Which makes me think “Who brings beauty into my life?”

Who I truly want to thank for the beauty in my life is God.

I thank God for the yellow rays of light that brightens our warm days.

I thank God for the white clouds and blue skies that lift our head up and lifts our spirits.

I thank God for the green grass and sweet scents of colorful flowers that can make us smile.

These are the true beauties in my life that I am grateful for.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ Many Blessings to you ~~
